1 Controller and contact

The controller is Yannick Feuring - FEURING, St. Gallerstrasse 22, 8853 Lachen SZ, Switzerland. Privacy enquiries: info@feuringshoes.com. This notice covers feuringshoes.com and the handling of enquiries, orders and returns.

2 Data and purposes

Visits involve processing technically necessary information such as IP address, access time, requested pages, browser and device information, and error and security logs. These support website delivery, security and troubleshooting.

Enquiries involve contact details and messages. Foot measurements and fit information supplied voluntarily are used for sizing advice. Please do not send health information that is unnecessary for that advice.

Orders involve name, email, delivery and billing addresses, telephone where relevant, selected items, size, accessories, order notes, price, payment status and order number. Returns may involve correspondence and condition photographs. We use these for contracts, advice, delivery, refunds, accounting and claims.

The website bag stores your selection in browser session storage. When you submit it for verification, item information and necessary order notes are sent to Wix. Payment details are entered into checkout. FEURING receives payment status and transaction information; the website does not store complete card details.

3 Providers and recipients

Wix.com Ltd., Israel, and relevant providers supply hosting, shop and checkout. Depending on processing, Wix may act as processor or for its own legal purposes. Information: https://www.wix.com/about/privacy

Payments use Stripe. Processing for European accounts involves in particular Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, Ireland, alongside relevant Stripe entities, payment networks and financial institutions. They process necessary order, identification and payment data for payments, fraud prevention and their own obligations. Information: https://stripe.com/privacy

Email uses Google Workspace. The provider for Swiss business customers is generally Google Cloud EMEA Limited, 70 Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland, with relevant Google affiliates and providers. The production partner in Spain receives item and configuration information. Since shoes are delivered to FEURING first, the normal process does not require the customer's address. Personal complaint details are shared only where needed for resolution.

Yannick Feuring maintains the accounts using Numbers. Files stored in iCloud may contain customer, invoice, order and payment data. The provider for Swiss users is Apple Distribution International Ltd., Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, with relevant Apple affiliates and providers. Authorities, courts and professional advisers may receive information where required by law or needed to protect claims.

4 International processing

Our own processing takes place in Switzerland; production takes place in Spain. Wix identifies Israel, Ireland, the United States, South Korea and Taiwan as possible data locations. Stripe, Google and Apple operate internationally; processing in Ireland and the United States is possible in particular. Further recipients and locations depend on the relevant service and its subprocessors. Storage exclusively in Switzerland is not promised.

Transfers to countries without adequate protection require a lawful ground, including recognised standard contractual clauses with necessary additions or an applicable statutory exception. Providers may also use a valid Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework certification for covered transfers. We do not claim every recipient is certified. Information on the locations and safeguards relevant to our services is available on request, subject to legitimate third-party interests.

5 Statistics and website technology

We use reports available in the Wix dashboard. Sales and order reports rely in particular on transactions and necessary shop data. Additional behavioural analysis using non-essential identifiers may operate only in accordance with your cookie choices. No additional analytics or advertising scripts are enabled in the website frontend; Google Analytics and Meta Pixel are not embedded there.

Fonts are loaded from website files, without a direct browser request to Google Fonts. The cookie notice explains cookies and browser storage. Wix-operated checkout also has its own cookie settings displayed there.

6 Retention

We generally delete standalone advice and support enquiries twelve months after resolution, unless orders, open claims or legal duties require longer retention. Accounting documents and business records subject to retention duties are generally kept for ten years. This does not apply indiscriminately to all visitor or advice data.

Browser session data are normally removed when the session ends; restoring tabs may affect this. Cookie choices are stored for at most six months. Security and provider logs are retained as needed under relevant technical and legal rules. Unneeded data are deleted or anonymised unless legal duties or necessary evidence preservation prevent this.

7 Security and rights

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risks. Absolute security cannot be promised. Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction and, where relevant, deletion or cessation of processing. Consent may be withdrawn for the future. Legal retention duties remain applicable.

8 Changes and marketing
